Welcome to Chitran, I’m Ankita!

I was born and raised in India, surrounded by mythological figures and stories that were woven into everyday life. As a child, I heard these stories from my parents. They stayed with me, not as lessons, but as companions.

Over time, these stories became my source of strength. During moments of hardship, uncertainty, and change, they offered perspective, resilience, and a sense of grounding that words alone could not.

Painting has always been a release for me, a shelter from the discord of life. It draws me inward, where time slows and stories surface.

Chitran melds these together. Myth and memory. Paint and presence. Each piece is an attempt to give form to what has long lived within me, allowing these timeless figures to continue speaking across generations.
